Terms & Conditions

Teaching music is how I make my livelihood.

  1. Regular attendance at lessons is expected.
  2. Notification of inability for a lesson is courtesy, but does not excuse payment. It is important to understand that your scheduled lesson time has been reserved for you and no one else. Last minute cancellations will be billed as a regular lesson and must paid in full at the next lesson.

  3. Lesson canceled by the teacher will be made up at a mutually convenient time.
  4. The teacher reserves the right to dismiss a student who is consistently absent, acts inappropriately, or whose work is unsatisfactory.
  5. Students participating in RCM Practical Examinations require an hour lesson.
  6. Participation/registration in RCM Examinations will be at the teacher’s discretion.
  7. Students participating in Grade 5 (and above) RCM Practical Examinations require Theory Co-requisites. More time will be required for Theory Examination preparation.
  8. Music is an art and requires discipline, dedication, and daily thoughtful practice. Student ability and examination results will vary.
  9. ALL STUDENTS, or PARENTS/GUARDIANS of students are responsible for safe practicing habits. Voice students should never sing too high or too low or to the point of vocal fatigue, strain or push your voice (screaming/yelling), whisper, sing when you’re sick or tired, or if your voice is sore.

Lesson Rates & Payment Methods

My rates are as follows:

  1. Piano / Saxophone / Theory / Composition: $25 – per ½ hour (30 min.)
  1. Voice: $40 – per ½ hour (30 min.)

* Transportation fees for out of town clients.

Payment may be made with cash or cheque. If paying by cheque, please make the cheque out to, “Ryan Peplinski”. If paying by cash, please have exact amount prepared.

Payment Options:
1) Weekly – Payment is expected at the completion of each lesson.
2) Monthly – Payment is expected at the first lesson of each beginning month.
